Grape Bruschetta Crackers
This grape twist on a classic tomato bruschetta is both fresh and flavourful, and pairs beautifully with rich Cracker Barrel Old Cheddar and buttery Ritz crackers.

Ingredients
- 2 cups (750 mL) seedless green grapes, chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped red onion
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) thinly sliced fresh basil
- 1/4 tsp (2 mL) salt
- 1/4 tsp (2 mL) granulated sugar
- 150 g Cracker Barrel Old Cheddar Cheese
- 36 Ritz Original Crackers
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped toasted walnuts
Directions
- In medium bowl, stir together grapes, onion, basil, salt and sugar. Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cut cheese into very thin slices widthwise, then in half lengthwise.
- Top each cracker with piece of cheese and grape bruschetta.
- Arrange on serving platter and garnish with walnuts.
Tips:
Substitute Ritz Original Crackers with Triscuit Original Crackers.
If preferred, arrange all crackers, cheese and grape bruschetta on a platter as an appetizer tray instead of arranging individual canapés.
Garnish bruschetta crackers with drizzle of balsamic glaze if desired.
